Has anyone come up with a charger for this one?

Would it work with a K800?

I only have "fast port" chargers now, but I'd still like to get one of these.

The CAR can't charge by itself, only when it's connected to a phone, it charges from the battery of the phone.
This has to be an older model phone, as the CAR has the old connector.

He is asking if anyone has come up with a charger for it because of what you said. An adapter would be cool.

This picture was posted by a member a couple of years ago but I think there is no such thing, or at least I've never actually seen one advertised anywhere... I was just teasing a bit

but it would have been a huge seller if it was really available

all you need to do is to take apart a regular charger, and solder the correct wires to the correct places on the car.

If you are going to do something like that, I would recommend you to use the charger that comes with HBH-DS970.

If a Taiwan manufacturer is reading, please release it

I wonder why they didn't put a female connector on the CAR-100, then I could use my HBH-600 charger.

Maybe they'll come up with a helicopter and it's own charger

I think making own adapter is the only way. (charger might fry the little beastie - it's designed to use the phone to charge, not a charger) . It would be easy enough to adapt bit's off a dss-20 or old phone to wire to a fastport connector.

I just tried my car-100 with my K800 as controller, and it works except for backwards (forwards left and right work fine)

The K750 works perfectly.
