Was using audiogalaxy before but there's spyware on it (gator) so I uninstalled it. Maybe being a bit paranoid but I don't the idea of this watching you. Does anyone know of any good mp3 sites which don't have such sw on their downloads? Probably aren't any?

write protected? theres no way to do this, so i'd venture a pretty sure guess you have a bad card... its not rocket science to right click the drive in explorer, say "format" and choose "FAT" file system and click "OK".... if that process screws up, then you have a bad card apparently

sgilboy> cheers mate I figured this out in the end so took my card bak to the local Sp that i bought it from. They're fobbing me off at the moment but are trying to format it for me I hope. The thing that pisses me off is that they said it was obviously something I did to the card to corrupt it! Oh yeah like using it twice in the space of the week with the supplie dequipment will corrupt it??? If so then their products are shite! Going it tomorrow to find out what theyv'e done and beleive me if they start giving me any shit then they will be in for a good fight!

dah, i hate when places try to "pass the buck" of a problem..... we spend our hard earned money and all we expect is a company to back up their products.....
hopefully they come through for you.. good luck mate...
now to go find out what "fobbing me off" means, haha (gotta love the english terms)

Fobbing off means to make some lame excuse to get rid off u! Ha which they did last night as the 'engineer' was away! Calling back tonight (at least its on my way home) will start to get pissed off soon. Ed
