I think the real issue here is how much weight are you carrying!

Yep!!!

Basically, it's a BT kit that fits in your car. No wires (well one or 2). Uses the car's radio speakers as sound out and there is a mic for sound in. If ur stereo can do it, it will aslo mute the radio automatically on a call. u pair ur phone to it like any normal BT device + u can teach it voice commands for voice dialing etc.

No drilling, No mess, No cradle, No fuss to install, some fuss to set it up though

Why r ppl bitchin about this post??

It is quite a serious question not just someone showing off their new toy. (btw - nice choice - what colour is it?)

What people don't understand is that the new BMWs do come with bluetooth!! BMW are quite up with current technology. Its for use with mobile phones n wireless headsets etc.

To answer the original question > I dont have a clue whether it will work or not - can't see y it wouldnt.

LOSERS eh?

Well maybe before u actually bought ur brand new BMW (that ur prob working ur butt off 12hrs a day to pay for and that actually doesnt, no really it doesnt!, add any wot so meaningful qualities to the sad lonely lost materialistic pathetic creature u r) U should have researched that bloody thing before getting it or at least had a test drive with it and used ur P800 with it? Non?

Dont label us 'losers' for ur inadequacies!

May I remind u that u were the one who turned to us 'losers' on this forum in the 1st place, and actually when no1 answered ur question who was the REAL LOSER then? LOL! HEHE!

Maybe you should stop and think before u post CR4P in future...

BTW If it dont work with ur 'brand new BMW' then y dont u opt for the Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Car! I can guarantee 100% compatibility! Just the right car for u - The car for a mouse NOT a man!

From what I've read on the roadfly.org forums BMW's bluetooth kit works well with the T68i, but not with the P800. Note there is another post in this thread that says it does work so I could be wrong. I don't have the bluetooth kit yet as it isn't available in the US.

I think the main problem is the showing off. Yes some people have good jobs and earn the wedge. Some people don't. Some people are educated and others are just plain stupid. I know totaly uneducated blokes who have wedge and clout but don't show off.

The problem with his question is that he mentioned brand new BMW blah blah blah. Well it ain't that much of a status thing anymore. Well done for being able to buy one. Just no need to show it off.

my problem with his post is the fact that a) he didnt make the question very clear
b) he labeled us losers whereas we r the most connaisseurs on mobiles
c) he gv 30mins to his thread
not everyone has a BT BMW with a P800 so that it is an easy to answer question!

well to him I say, good luck finding a bunch of ppl who know more about the P800 than us (maybe my-symbian? )

I hope he gets flammed everywhere else he goes.. assholes like him deserve it

IndianBwoy,

He is calling them losers because he was asking a simple question and all he got was flak. You show their maturity even further by calling down his choice in cars? Saying he's materialistic? What the hell? A BMW in Vancouver BC is like a dime a dozen, it's not like he said my new Lamborghini Gallardo needs BT, and oh yeah everyone else's car sucks?

No, he just asked a question. The only sad pathetic loser here is you.

O-M-G

He just bought a brand new car, he said that. MAYBE HE'S HAPPY. Wouldn't *YOU* be happy if you just bought a new car?

So he goes on a forum and says I just bought a brand new beamer, BIG DEAL? He didn't say "oh go look at all my fancy pictures." like some bengelboy guy here does.

and he did it to make a point that it's NEW and not an old beamer with a store bought BT install.

jesus christ, you people are the real snobs. Jealously is going to give you all heart attacks.

he didn't call you a loser. read the top posts on the thread. the peolpe who were posting useless answers about their cars trying to poke fun at him "it works in my ferrari" blah blah blah.

All the guy wanted to know if someone else had a new BMW that has BT and if they had experienced any problems with the fireware on the phone or the firmware in the BT kit.
