First of all I want to thank all of those that made FunnyPhone so great! Thank You, it works perfect on my palm505. I love this site! I do have a question about how to convert my personal logos into the Palm Database and import them into FunnyPhone. Is that possible? I tried the CYGWIN1 with WIN 98 and I don't think it was intended for 98. Suggestions?

EHH,..are you talking about a desktop or laptop now ? or a pda ??
You can beam ringtones from i.e. a laptop or desktop with standard win-IR-drivers. You dont need a program for that

All you need is an IRDA-connection, and to make some emy-files containing melodies. Quite easy, and it works

Thank You pker88, your instructions worked perfectly. If I may ask another question, is there a way to group a number of gif files together into one pdb file yet they become individual logos on the palm? Just like the Esato logos pdb file.

Try to put more gif's in the code. It works for me.

Example:
pdbmaker flower.gif car.gif face.gif key.gif mypack1.pdb

The pdb is stored in the same directory.
So, if pdbmaker.exe is in d:\temp, the generated pdb should be in d:\temp.

@shadock
I suppose that "blackhawk" is asking where is the result into the Palm ! I had the same problem... I tried the file you’ve make for the T39 into the T68... and after I had to remove (delete) the T39 background one by one... because the file sent to the Palm stay "invisible"...?!?

Once again, thanks for your great job !!

Ok, you're right : when you create a new pdb with pdbmaker and sync it in your palm, the next launch of FunnyPhone merge the new pdb to the FunnyPhone pdb.
We're developing the new release now. And indeed, it'll be a 'delete all' function.

Tom&Arnaud.

I have the same problem as blackhawk.
When I sync the created pdb file to the palm it does not appear in the funnyphone app - where is it?

Maccboy and blackhawk : I have no idea why this is appening.
Could you please send us a pdb you generated ? With this pdb, we will be able to debug the problem.
Thanks,
(and happy new year to all).
