My 128MB MMC card is An ApAcer card, and it works great with the HPM-10

It doesn't support >128 MB cards afaik...

some ? or every 256 Mb MMC works normal ?

I've read through this forum and have exactly the same problem as
Mindstorm...

So, any luck with solving the "insert music card" issue?

Check that it's not a secure digital (SD) type MMC - these are incompatible with a number of digital cameras and possibly the MP3 player too

EDIT: As posted by Mixin, here on esato, and in this review. It seems whatever capacity, SD cards are not compatible. Thank you google for the answers and happy birthday!

It is impossible even to insert SD card into the player, because it is thicker than MMC. As to the problem: may be it depends on HPM-10 hardware version? It is indicated on the backside of the player. BTW, where your player is made? Mine made in Russia.

i am currently using a 256 MB pq1 MMC for my MP3 player, and i also have a 128mb mmc but it wont work, the chip needs to be formated, can some one please tell me how i can format it
