I hate to admit it, the old Nokia phone back in 1994 or 95 (I don't remember the model) it really kicked a*s. True, it was a brick and it still had an external antenna, but it was so much easier to use than the old motorola phones. Too bad no one used SMS back then.

Nokia communicator 9000 was also great. Although it was heavier than a large brick, it was pretty good with several new features. (first 64 k memory phone) Also Sansung A100 was first mp3 phone.

Yeah, there was a Communicator 9000, Size 174 x 64 x 38 and Weight 397 grams ! It was a beast!
I wonder why no-one has mentioned the much loved T610 as innovative - so much technology in such a compact package!

Geezay - I go for that !!
I had ALOT of phone, but the T610 is a working mirakel !!
I believe it will take some time before someone can beat that one!!
I think nokia 2110 must have changed the world back then, with a menu system that didn't take 4 month to learn !!!

To me it was the R380. It had the big screen, stylus, wap got a totally new dimension, it had it all! Shame it was too early for GPRS. I loved that phone!

Nokia 6110 was a damn fine fone in it's day, and surely an innovator with it's flip paint job!
8210 was the first hugely popular small fone
5110/3210/3310 was the first example of Nokia putting the same fone in a different case and calling it new!
T68 was the dogs danglies, and still a mighty fine fone to this day
P800 first fone to be idolised a year before release!
