the SE T616 is the american gsm-flavor tri-band version of the t61x series (850/1800/1900 frequency)

About the flickiring its omly a software problem, and it can fixed by new upgrad later ... and for the insert sim card = the sim card is bad or its old ,because new phones only support new sim cards... and about T610 its the best and Awsome phone in the market ,and u cant find that only when u bring another phone and try them together and then u will see that T610 is out of this world.... T610 is the most powerfull phone ever

@tom,

does the screen flicker when you use the classical theme?
the reason i'm asking this is because on my wk28 t610 on R1L, the screen flickers more frequently when i'm using dark themes like deep ocean.
also, when the phone is plugged into the charger, the flicker cycle starts. hehe...

@nats168, i was using a light theme that is why i have to change themes. Anyway, i am now using the deep ocean, and yes, when the phone is reading, it flickers. Not on a constant basis though.

i see the flicker on my t616's screen as like the phone's heartbeat. it's alive!!! i have to look closely to notice the flicker on the screen when it's charging and when it's not it has no flicker. like mr. riddle said "not on a constant basis". i better not upgrade my phones firmware for i am content with it. if it ain't broke, why fix it.
