I though of that, but Ive got a better idea because I now know that it is Masseur or Scotboy_uk that has copied my name. I guess it wont be too difficult to find out who!

You didn't ask for a his/her IP's etc. You have now, but I can't give it to you. I've changed the username to something not too similar as yours. I agree that glasgow.uk and glasgow,uk not are very easy to differentiate, but it's not for sure that this user knew someone had the name glasgow.uk. 60 members starts their name with t68....

I don't know about masseur or Scot boy but this clone seems to be a girl because she mentions about her boy friend on a thread relating to SMS space limit. How ever she/he also enquires about wap webistes for homosexuals. Well I am a bit confused now . Any way happy to know that the problem is solved

It's matinrly a noise up going by the posts. You don't have to give out the ip, but i'm sure you could use it to tell us who the perp is. Call it a public flogging.

Public floggings are not really a good thing are they. Anyway... when they can't log in suirely they can have a look at the thread they created and check theri new name? Seems to me there is no problem there

well I have just read this thread and I vigorously deny any connection with this allegation and cannot even imagine how you could even consider that I would do such a thing, given my hopefully good reputation on this forum.
Please explain how you 'know' it to be me or Scotboy_uk who I must admit I have never heard of and I ask you to provide anything that can even connect me to this?
Indeed I can only think of a couple of times I have even seen your username on any thread I have replied to.
edit: furthermore I give full permission for laffen or any moderator to audit my ip address and that of the offender, or indeed check anything they have at their disposal that will prove my complete innocence in this matter. I really cannot believe my username has even come into this!

Ive spoken to laffen and he confirms that it WAS NOT masseur that was the culprit.
Notice: im just as quick to apologise as I am to crititise.
As for Scotboy_uk, laffen confirms that it WAS NOT him either.
SO THE CULPRIT IS STILL AMONG US!!!!!!!!
It was someone outwith of the U.K.

Ok, thanks for that although perhaps a little sooner before I had to reply might have been nicer.
I have worked hard to build a good name here and try and help people and I was honestly totally shocked to see my name as one of two culprits!
thanks again, glasgow.uk, for the confirmation you are satisfied it was not me.
edit: although I just read that you say it was someone outside of uk and indeed I work in Frankfurt monday to friday, so again I confirm vigorously I had nothing to do with it. During day hours I connect via Deutche Boerse LAN which I think starts with 172 in the IP address. In the evening I connect with freenet.de and my ip address tonight is 213.6.170.206. In uk at weekend I connect with demon ADSL but I have no idea of their IP address range at this time. When home in Oz I connect with Bigpondand again am not sure of their ip address range but someone could check these I am sure.
