ahh! pachy... maybe thats where you are going wrong! they prefer one button to be pressed at a time so it lasts longer... not all at once so its over with quickly! 
actually my missus is a gadget wife, just unfortunatly not the same type of gadgets as me.. more your sewing and knitting and crafting gadgets!

@masseur, Correct me if i'm wrong, but if she's into sewing knitting & crafting she can choose where to put her buttons making it harder for u to find them
