i like it as i love colour and i wonder why SE only ever give a range of a couple of colours in there phones the need to start appealling to a larger market bass |

Superluminova, I agree to some extent. Given the popularity of Nokia ability to change cover you have to wonder why SE don't easily provide the same ability.

i think the reason that they don't is manufacturing costs, but surely the profit margins would be greater than the manufacturing costs for face plates?

maybe but you'd think if they setup for changeable covers the costs would be easily overcome by the number of people, especially those moving from Nokia, who would buy them!

Apparantly, but perhaps they should consider what the buyer wants a little more and surely the setup costs of having changeable covers compared with covers that can only only be changed by skilled people would not be that much more. I guess though, how many people buy original Nokia original covers compared with the thousands of non original covers that are out there so perhaps this is why SE don't go for this approach.

thx! at one point,(Before i began) ive considered ordering these in bulk and customize these faceplates then sell them. but when the work began, i think ive reconsidered. primer,multiple layers of paint, multiple layers of acrylic, multiple sanding, wet sanding. and to make matters worse, the weather has to be right (not humid). it was really tedious. but, if you're customising your own faceplate, you probably wont notice the work involved. |

Does anuone know the price for, lets say, a blue cover.

dude, if youre willing to pay that much i suggest to go to an autobody shop and have it professionally painted, im sure they wont balk at the price you will be offering

with that kind of budget, you know you will get QUALITY work, an you can have a wide variety of cooler paint, not just something from a can, just think pearlized yellow, chrome yellow, high gloss yellow,yellow with racing stripes, metallic yellow.....startin to sound like bubba, from forrest gump |
