I have posted this before, but can't be bothered to search now.
The *theoretical* top speed for IR is 4mb available through high speed extensions, so basically:
Normal IR speed = 9.6kb -> 115.2kb
IR over high speed extensions speed = 1mb -> 4mb (both devices have to support it)
BlueTooth speed = 723kb -> 1.2mb (with compression)

I bought the same USB-Irda adaptor as Massuer and I am very happy with it, especially the USB extension lead thats made of stiff mesh covered wire that I have formed into a perfect shape over the back of my pc so it doesn't vibrate by sitting on the case. |

ma620 usb-irda adapter
transfer speed of 2.2 kilobytes/second .. measured with "k700 dateimanager"
all speeds set to maximym 115200bps but of no use .. my k500 takes ages to transfer large files
wat m i doing wrong ?? and wat speeds do u ppl get over infra ? |
