I don't really think it will be that popular, because of the price, the fact that no so many ppl have an MMS enabled phone and that it's too much of a hassle (15 seconds, having to know all of your friends' phones....)

If you send a MMS to one that doesn't have a MMS-phone, he/she will get a SMS that says that you have received a MMS. Then they can read the MMS on a WEB-site. Simple/cheap MMS-phones will be able to receive, but not send MMS-messages.

By the way, Roadrunner. I didn't know that it is possible to send MMS-messages in Hungary yet... Which SP is that?

So Laffen you've sent an MMS using the T68m, when was that upgraded?

How much did it cost you?

And did it live up to the hype?

@Linkinpark17UK

It was a demonstration done by one of the operators here in Norway. They had recevied a couple of T68m phones with MMS software for testing purposes. I didn't use my own phone.

MMS will take off when the Nokia 3510 hits the market - its only a greyscale model, but it is MMS-compatible and will be on the market for around €200-250 - within the reach of most low-end users. Most people missed this announcement in the 7210 hype

Mmmmm I don't know.
The 3510 is only MMS... receive! I.e. you can't send MMS with it, which is really strange! Why did they do it so?
Ok, you can send MMS from your PC/T68i/7650/7210 to a 3510, but not from any 3510s...

It will be the first mass-market phone supporting MMS, but with receive function only, I'm somehow skeptical.
