02 receiving mms (smaller size?) |

when ever i send an mms, when its recieved by the other person it says go to www.o2.co.uk uk and enter the pin, does the person have to be fully set up and everything to recieve them aswell??

yes. the person receiving has to have GPRS and their phone needs to be set up to receive MMS.

I was under the impression that all networks re-size images as the idea is to make the pictures compatible with all MMS-compliant mobiles regardless of spec? I'm on Orange & T-Mobile and the same happens on both.
Or am I missing something?

Thank you for your enquiry.
It may well be the other person that is sending you the picture who has
there handset set up in such a way to only send small pictures.
I do know that the network is configured in a way to recognise the
handset make and model the picture message is being sent from to the
make and model of the handset the message is being received at. The
network will then configure the picture message so that they are
compatible.
I have looked into the configuration settings on a T610 and there is no
option to change the size of picture. However I also know that with
some Nokia handsets there is an option to change the size of the
picture from either large or small.
