I can transfer jar files no problem but the jad files dont work. Youve said that the phone doesnt need them and youre right the games work fine without the jad files, but what i want to know is what exactly is the point of these redundant jad files? What are they meant to do?
Also, why do no downloaded java games have sound? The java games that come with the phone have sound like q*bix and mophun games have sound. Maybe these jad files are sound files? Thats just a wild guess.
Any enlightenment would be helpful, thanks. |

Jad files describe the jar archive. It contains info such as the jar size, midp version etc. Open it using a standard text editor (eg notepad) and you'll see.

However, don't worry about trying to get it copied to the T610 because so far I have never needed it... only the .jar file.

Ok great, thats that question answered. So how come no downloaded java games have sound? Even a little beep when you shoot/jump/move would be fine. |

I'm pretty sure the T610 supports sound in Java so maybe its a question you should be asking the game developers.
