just a thought... and I haven't tried it as I am down to one phone this week... but if sms those symbols with a space between each from your nokia to the T610 then when the message is received and you choose forward you can highlight each symbol, choose spell from the more menu and then click insert to add it to my words?

I found the best way to go about it is to go to an online texting service (02 or orange, say) and text your self the symbols which you don't have like [] and then save this to the archive of your phone.

Just email the complete set to your phone using a pc, then edit and add each smiley to your dictionary after yo've openned it on your phone.

I sent the note that someone posted up on this forum (btw thank you for that) and it is now on my phone with all the possible smileys. But how do I get each smiley into my t610 dictionary from the note so that I can use them all in txts? Is it a long drawn process?? Thanks.
