From what i've heard..i haven't tried the t616 yet. the t616 on cingular has only slighly better recpetion still poor compared to others.
when i had a t300 it had a better reception than the t68i. the reception is just a little jumpy on se phones fro some reason. |

But flucatating signal bars on SE phones means nothing apart from that it refreshes the signal level more often than other phones. |

ppcrockar people have always said that, right from my T39 which fluctuated like mad.
In my experience though, all my Nokia's, 6100 included, can hang onto calls/make calls where my T610 struggles, or would send incoming calls straight to answerphone as it was out of signal.
Finally gave up on the T610 at the weekend when the T610 had no signal and was sending callers straight to answerphone, when all the Nokia's around are displaying full strength and making/receiving calls happily.
For me RF is a definite problem.... |

Yup ... from what I gathered from colleagues and friends ... RF is a problem (and not just on 1900 band). |

so 7250= better signal and call quality
t610- suckz at it. i go for the call quality for that is what i mostly use and not the other high tech features.

Maybe it's because with BT you can upload & download games & pictures easily to the PC...
>7250has far more games&apps available for it.
żż?? I would like to know how many games & apps were available when the 7250 first appeared, or when the symbian OS did. The games & appz need "development", you know and the T610 has TWO platforms, java & Mophun (instead of 1 in 7250)

żż?? Curious someone knows the design team for the T610...

I have to begin by stating that I am very fond of SE and I despise Nokia and its arrogance!
I own both phones and I promise that I'll be very realistc about my opinion. The sound of the T610 is full, loud and noise-free BUT the 7250 holds on to weak signals better and without interruptions. In terms of memory the 7250 has about five times bigger capacity due to the well-known "bloated memory" problem of the T610. The screens are equally bright but under bright sunlight the 7250 is more readable. The quality of the displayed images is better with the T610 but not by far. The 7250 has a much faster menu response, the T610 has a more sophisticated and elaborate menu. The casing of the T610 is more chic and creak-free, the 7250 has interchangeable covers. Some people weigh more the existence of BT and email clients, others think that the built-in radio, in combination with the open speaker for radio or conversation, is more practical for everyday usage. Both phones appear to have no manufacturing defects, in terms with SE tradition and contrary to Nokia tradition. The cameras are both OK; the T610 is more sophisticated and displays a larger image, while the 7250 appears to display more vivid colors AFTER the shutter has been released. The T610 has a very significant edge when it comes to its open IR platform for exchanging free images and tones. It connects to a PC even without the installation of its suite!
Both phones are good and one has to really weigh his needs before chosing one. The T610 is more professional and elegant, with the 7250 you can return from your vacation with 200 photos loaded. It's up to you!!!
I will keep the T610, but I am sure that there will be times when I'll miss the 7250.

You have to use a phone where its build for. You don't need to have 20 games,50 pictures,50polyfones on the phone when you can easily up-and download those things in half a minute with bleutooth. So put some of those things in your phone and when you want others just change them and store them on your PC. So that's the advantage of bleutooth. The RF is great in Belgium so that's a problem of the network. Great advantage is the small size of the phone and not forget the 32 poly.Great service from SE is when whe have some problems with something they have an upgrade to solve the problems within a month.
