Is there an automatic setting for the p8? I used a bluetooth earpiece with automatic answer and voice dialing set on I watched the battery drain at an alarming rate. I wonder if it was the voice dialling that caused the drain as the fone was constantly searching for matches - any ideas or solutions please ?

I had to ditch my voice dialing & magic word because the phone would be constantly trying to match commands after being activated during normal conversation, even after several changes of the magic word.

@Orn8one

The P800 does have an automatic setting. Unfortunately you have to set it to ON to use the voice dialing through the head so the phone will will always maintain a connection to the headset. When set to automatic, the phone will only search for the headset when you receive or make a call

Thank you. @ Pachy I have also kept changing my magic word but every time I open my mouth I think the phone searches so I will have give it up too - unless @ jhermano. Do you mean you have to click the switch on the headset and then use voice dial? So the phone and hreadset are in a standby situation ? Ty to you both but
