A base station does not cover 10 kms...
There are several of them in the little town I live in. There's been a system like this here in norway now for a while and the accuracy of it seems to be about 500m(this still sucks) maybe even less(this varies. It may be less accurate in less populated areas..).
But don't worry about you boss.. You phone has this little thing called "the off button" or "power button"
Which you can use to "turn off" or "switch off" your phone.
For thos of you lucky enough to own a p800 you even have a "flight mode" mode which is even more usefull as the phone stays on and can keep telling you what time it is or something like that. |

is the request just once or every time you trace the fone cos if it was just once i.e. on setup then u could trace anytime you want .... if this was the case it would be an amazing security device if your fone was stollen then you could find it

Sorry to repeat myself:a base covers at least 1okm in a plain terrain with buildings no more than 10-15m hi. The little antenas u see r re-transmiters of the signals as a base every 10km is inadequate economically speaking. Maybe its my english..

You only need to get your mate to accept the request to track them once and thats it, use and abuse as much as you like. But as others seem to think its a load of hogwash well what can I say besides try it and see.........
