I believe to make use of web browsing functions in java (T610), you have to have your 'internet' (apn) wap profile set up as the first/default profile. When your phone tries to establish internet connection, java borrows the settings from there.
If you are trying to use java applications like IRC/ICQ that use sockets://, - that's impossible since T610 does not support sockets. |

Probably wont use the HTML browser since it will be very expensive loading all images and stuff....and also its pretty slow browsing a whole html page veiwing the T610 screen |

Wewbviewer is the dogs bollox, you connect via their servers and they chop out all the crap and reduce the images to suit your screen, very, very good, |

Do you mean that your default profile has to be on the top of your profileslist? Or do you just mean the default profile?? Cause mine is default the one with which I get on wap sites and with Webviewer I get a network error. |

In order for Webviewer to work, the current WAP profile must be using an APN that has internet access. If the WAP profile with internet access is not the current one, make it current before using Webviewer.
