I think Samsung has made a phone called SGH-X820 where you can watch TV and video  in. It is only to be released in asia ( of course) but at least it's possible. |

I think the guy is saying the truth and I just want to inform about his innovation (after asking him to post the subject here).

As what you said he add some components to the main board to make it work (I think it's an internal tuner of a Sony palm TV not the MS Duo tuner) so it will not be released as an add-on and it’s only for a test purposes.

The phone can receive the local channels only, but he is planning to develop it to be a satellite receiver (as he said).

Sounds fishy to me, he also wrote the program to display the video?
