@P800 Zen Master et al.

Now that's a funny one indeed...

Quote:
Anyway she puts those flat wires on the chip and then paints lacker over it for the Nokia chips in the Nokia phones!!!!!!!!!!!

So there is no way i would buy a phone from them!!!!! I dont think she can do a good job, she says the wires are not always striaght!!!!!!! scary!!!

My English fails to understand what you mean with "painting lacker", but anyway, if this is what I think it is (e.g. like putting some kind of varnish right?), you are certainly referring to this process that is needed before bath-welding...

As to "putting flat wires on the chip", you should probably know this is not done by hand... Of course, the wires need not be straight, that's how routing can be done.

Open your own PC motherboard and you'll see that too... Or open your P800, and you'll see it as well. Oooh.

I do agree, I worked in STMircoelectronics in Singapore, in which they produce chips for our biggest Client, Nokia. Trust me, if you see how we produce the wafers, you'll know why I personally won't buy Nokia phones!

@ bryanstrife

What you're pointing at has nothing to do with the original post which to me is something sent out by someone who has no clue whatsoever of what he's talking about.

As to making the waffers in STM I guess you should clarify further, cuz I fail to see what you mean here. "I've seen how they make waffers", well it depends what you've seen in fact... (Some individuals claim they've seen ETs in Roswell...) It certainly does not mean that the ICs on the waffers are crap. Besides if ST are where they are today, it certainly is because they make good products, think about it for a second. Moreover, ST do have a number of quality certifications (ISO) in design and manufacture which clearly invalid what you're claiming. Such certifications do not just measure the quality of the final product but all processes that lead to the end-product. Such certification is reevaluated regularly, much like Michelin stars for (some) restaurants.

So no I don't trust you here

@zen_dude

so it means that the guys who makes the SE phones in china are better workers than your girlfriend and her fellow workers? so it's her fault why nokia phones are junk just like SE phones.
