So that we can suppot the developers and therefore they will still be willing to create great application such as Handy Day. The P800 is still in it infancy, and for the phone to be truely great then there needs to be a good source of software. Developers will not develope for this device if they are making no money!

yeah at the present time but they will not continue to do this if we keep doing this...look at Handy Day for example....the previous versions never had a serial number and now they had to include it because people are decideing to use cracked versions

This developer continues to give free upgrades (now upto v3) for users willing to pay for his efforts. This is one program that deserves support as all the improvements have been great.

Some people are happy to write programs for pleasure (such as the guy who develops OggPlayer, a great program) but we should not cut off the skills of commercial developers by completely ripping off their software.

I personally have no pirate software on my P800 even though I can get the stuff from the mobil warez site.

And I'm also not rich (single income family with 2 kids) just value the worth of good programming.

Yeh i totally agree, and will end up buying whichever program i feel is the best for me. I have to choose between tracker, when it's updated, and handy day. I can't afford to buy both, and i dont have a credit card, so buying is a lot harder than downloading.

I suppose we will see what tracker is like, as i personally really like the way it's heading...

I completely agree. I was using a warez copy of Handy Day 2.0 to sample it. I then realized how great the application is and, having a technical background, I very much valued the effort that went into making the software. After using the warez copy, I purchased the software and am happy I did so. It is worth every penny of it and I still get free upgrades (got my serial number for Version 3 today) - I think it's very important that we support efforts such as these - after all, it's us the users that benefit more than anyone when developers keep developing

If you have not recieved your email yet regarding your serial number.... do the following:

1. Go to http://www.penreader.com/paragon/site/en/login.jsp
2. Enter your email (which you used to buy Handy Day) as 'User Name' and press 'Send me password' button.
3. You will get your password by email. Use it to log into the E-Service System.
4. Choose 'Registration' at the top to see your serial number.

This is what i did last night and it worked! The upgrad is great I just wish there was a way to put the phone on silient quickly, like you know when you click on the jog dial and the pop up message comes up it would good if there was an option to put it on silient, cause it is a pain if you are in a rush and need to put the phone on silent, you would have to take out your pen (could us fingers but mine is too big!) to click on the speakerphone and then tick the silent option.
