The best way to use the ericsson sever is by visiting the sony-ericsson site and using the product finder to find the T68 then use the wap configurator to send you the settings automatically!

I kinda agree that T68 can only admits 16 colours at one time. I have compared a 256 colours image on PC screen to the phone's screen. Colours are really world apart; like the phone's screen does not match up to the 256 level.

It's all to do with the pallette you use. If you use the "Standard/Web safe" pallette then you get all 256 colours. If you use any other pallette then the T68 does a nearest colour match.

Ok, the T68 can show 256 colors, but WHICH 256 colors? Are they from a fixed pallette, or does it mead 256 different colors at the same time? This is important if you want to create your own images.

I am not impressed with logo 1031, sure it looks great on a PC monitor but when downloaded from WAP or imported into MyPictures it loses the quality. It needs enhancing like these guys have been doing in Photoshop. Unfortunately I only have PaintShopPro6 and this enhancing seems a bit too complex for my little brain!

Not sure about PSP6, but in PSP7 if you work in 16 bit colour when you reduce the colour depth to 256 colours select the "Standard / Web safe" pallette.
