I know what you mean there...
I tried that pic too, it's not showing really a blue color, is grey.
but lets try doing some background yourself.
I have done many of them are good... real blue.
but all of them are around 8k.
size does matter maybe..lol |

The colour blue looks ok on my screen. My software version is R1B.

I agree totally with |L|00s3r.
The blue color is the only major problem with the T68 display. To those that claim to have a T68 without this problem: try to compare to your PC/laptop monitor, and notice the huge difference!

i think that the pic is just badly taken(1440)
if you look at all the rest they are not bad
what you should remember is that the phone is a very good phone indeed soon you can get the t68i if you what

Yes it's true the T68 won't be able to display blue color but in cyan. |

I have compared my T68 display with a friend's. At the time we had the same software, R1B. On the same background pic, I think it had a lot of orange and red shades, my display was significantly worse than my mate's. The shades on his were much smoother and mine was more yellow/pale than orange. Are all T68s manufactured in the same place/country? I suppose it must be something with the hardware... (besides that, I love my T68 too )

I think this is a problem with all these type of non-TFT displays... but its probably something that can be tweaked with software so prob the next update might see better colour balance...
It will take a long time more for the technology for small screens to be 'perfected' I think...

looking at the t68i spec pdf posted elsewhere here i found out why the t68 has problems displaying blue probaly... apparantly the color scheme is rgb (red green blue) 3:3:2.... that means for every 3 red and every 3 green shades the phone only has 2 blue shades... dont know exactly why they chose to make it this way... |
