Well gentlemen, you're most welcome to have your phone flashed with us, but don't worry about it too much. There is absolutely NOTHING I can find that has changed compared to the previous CDA and PDA versions. But maybe these two files solve problems some people had with the last upgrade. I have sent an email to our EMMA support quy to provide us some details about enhancements and when i receive this, I will give some info here.
But to answer some questions we all have:

NO T9
NO additional settings concerning SMS delivery reports
NO Video Recording options
NO improved video quality in fullscreen mode
NO UIQ 2.1
NO Color shemes
NO built in task manager

Phone: CXC162002 R2F (unchanged)
Bluetooth: CXC12529 R5A (unchanged)
Organiser: CXC162001 R2B03 (new)
CDA: CDA162001/3 R4A02 (new)

sorry guys

Interestingly:

R2B for the US upgrades the phone to R2D
R2B for most of Europe upgrades the phone to R2F

Perhaps the differences are provider settings.

you cant do it at home... yet.

So the firmware is released selectively then.. Interesting. Spose it makes it worth a phone call first.

Whilst there may not be any obvious differences, it could be an issue we haven't yet seen - or maybe it fixed an issue that you didn't have mark?

Either way, any progress is good progress.

@Andy, could be! There are so many "bugs" probably no-one even ever notices.
After the phone R2D and Organiser R2A release a huge list of bug fixes was available for service/flashpoints. Most of these bugs none of us probably never encountered. I will give two example:

Title: Messaging hang when hitting back in email detail view while deleting
Description: Open a message in detail view, select delete from the menu, tap yes in the confirm dialog and then tap back quickly. If you are fast enough mesaging hangs with Kern-Exec 3.
Problem fixed.

Sony Ericsson engineers actually are quite funny:
Title: SMS acknowledge receipt unavailable:
Description: SMS acknowledge receipt introduced......

For the latest pda/cda upgrade no list available yet.

I am on R1D. R2D or any other upgrades are not likely to be available where I live - ever. So, can I flash an upgrade from R1D to R2D from my computer (at my risk of course). Or am I being thick?
