It'd be nice to believe that the little guy can make a great phone that is not full of bugs and able to use throughout the world but I don't think it will happen, sadly.

Sure it would be great if the N1 would be bugfree. But that isn't going to happen, especially not when it is based on Windows CE.
That is one huge reason not to buy the N1. |

All companies that builds mobilephones and palmcomputers, have to release them to early, or they will loos to other companies. According to N1 its is a damn Italian company that holds it up. Its the Shells that isnt finnished. And with internet you always have global service. You have to wait. They can't build up everything all at once. It takes several years maybe. I think its kinda cool that you can update the phone yourself. Wished I could do that with mine.
