OK... noticed another issue. I had to set the COM port speed to be exactly at 9600 to get it to work. There is no such issue with my R520m or T200.

You can try by going into Hyperterminal in Windows Accessories. A COM port speed of anything other than 9600 would show garbage on the screen when you issue AT commands.

alright dude, quit your moaning... i did some searching for you today...

http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?template=SP1_17_1&B=IE&PID=9976&FID=2294&LM=SD_V&FileCatID=5&MN=Drivers&noredir=1

head to that address and download. its a 17mb file, follow the instructions, including uninstalling all other mobile phone monitors you have already installed. ignore the stuff about the ir connectivity a must, this package worked fine for me.

make sure you have your phone connected via cable aswell when its installing... if all goes well the program should synchronize your phone with the clock on the computer, well thats what happened to me at least. once its installed, follow the instructions i posted earlier in this thread.

let me know how you get on...

i have another version of MPM on control panel, but ever since i started installing some of this mobile phone software the list in add/remove programs has dissappeared and only a few programs are in it (the ones i installed since the old 1's went). Therefore i am unable to remove the old MPM software, is there a way round this? ive tried uninstalling it from C:\program files\ericsson etc....
