Heres a link to a zip file with the T68 pitch ringtones in WAV format - they are kinda big and sound hissy!

Hi zahg,
Nice job !!! And I have modified it somehow, my new version is quite cool
My new version (based on your version) :
1) size only 110KB !! However, quality no change !
2) fully utilize the amplitute envelope, produce very loud sound !
3) filter out all NOISE embbed !!!
You can download it here,

Have fun !! |

Great job there sanbeiyan!!!
I guess i shoulda silenced the noisey bits - duh!
I tried putting down the quality to 8-bit but noticed a difference in clearness so left it at 16bit.
Whats the second step that you did regarding the amplitude envelope?
Thanks for the work!

Hi zahg,
I'm lazy in sampling from the old handset
This couldnt be done without your original source !!!
I use cooledit to magnify the amplitute to just fit the envelope,
so as in the P800, you can have it loud enough with mid setting
of the volume control. Also, I make a ttf to filter out the noise
there. Finally, cut it to 8bit to save my space, that's my money !!

Cool, I've been using GoldWave to get some tunes i recorded off the radio (on MD) to edit and burn on to CD and still learning about the tweaks you can do to the stuff once its on your PC. Did start using CoolEdit Pro (two differenct versions) but the wavs i recorded had jumps/skips in so abandoned it for GoldWave.
I've replaced my ringtone with yours and am very pleased that I now (finally!) have a decent mixed pitch ringtone. Its the same ringtone i've used exclusivly for all four Ericsson phones I've owned (SH888/R320s/T68/P800).

zahg,
got an idea, can you sample in the classic Nokia SMS alert tone (the "doo doo, doo doo" tone) ? It's nice SMS alert.

Sorry dont have any nokias to sample, but i see you managed to get it out now - good stuff!
I'm still a bit confused about the 'pitch' ringtones, are they (or maybe just the mixed pitch one) different on a T68i? I thought i had T68i software on my T68.
