Hi Guys!
I never realized how many T68 users are there in Singapore, since I bought mine last October 2001, I only saw about 8 or 9, excluding my 2 friends who followed me. I so am glad that we are getting bigger here, T68 users.

->foosm, yeah you exchanged melodies and pic with another T68 phone, just make sure your Bluetooth and other phone one is on, I don't think it's necessary for you to pair them, I believe pairing is when you want an always connected device to your T68 like for instance headset.

->Ah_seow, You can check ring tones from this site, quite a bunch of ring tones here. So far no problem with reception at the MRT.

->cyno75, I have tried playing Ripple with my friend too and it was really fun and made Nokia feel envy to us!

->ramtam1, R2A is available at Ericsson Service Center, Goldhill Plaza just across Novena Square. R2B is also available but they said it's not recommeded to have an
upgrade now due to it's unstability.

So how about an EB/meeting probably on the 30th March? Let's share some knowledge, experience and a lot of things, I'm sure it will be cool.

The SE SP in town will give u R2B. So far I've had no problems with R2B. (Had R2A previously)

FYI, If you are using an old 8k Sim card, I'd suggest that u change to a 16k Sim card if u want to use GPRS because the old Sim card will cause problems with the T68.

can't wait for the new software to be out... the picture book looks great!

->Ah_seow, that would be a good idea let's meet at Ericsson Service Center and have sw upgrade together.

I had some serious connection problems to M1 network using my old sim card with GPRS service turned on. Apparently (this is not M1 official statement) the old 8k sim card (the ones that store 85 numbers max) use higher voltage or something.. so causes problems with startup of phone (i.e connect to network v. slow) The new 16k Sim cards (store >85 numbers) don't have this problem. Since I've been on M1 for a long time I was still using my original antique sim card.. After I changed it.. no probs. And it was done for free. Got to admit that on that occasion M1 shop pple were v. helpful though I have had mixed experiences on the dialup help heh

Roberto.... according to the gal at the SC at Goldhill told me.... M1 have announce to them abt their GPRS network.... Cos i encounter a prob with my Hp when i ppl call in... the call was diverted to my voice mail.... So to rectify it... u have to off ur GPRS network... and sololy using GSM....

to do that...
go Menu... COnnect... Data Comm...Pref. Service...choose GSM only...

so i only log on to GPRS when i need to use WAP...

if u have any up date on the above Prob pls post on the forum:-D

Ah Seow,

I think they got that problem first from me.. heh.. but really after spending 2 hours with M1 staff.. we rooted it down to the Sim card.. after that the calls weren't diverted.

Recently my T68 have been hanging on me. It seem to have started when I use the HBH-15 bluetooth headset. I set the bluetooth to be
on and even when I am not using the HBH-15
it will also suddenly hang. Anyone has this problem ? Maybe time to upgrade s/w for phone
and headset.....

So far for me R2B is the most stable software. I had R1B and R2A

Has anyone in Singapore called SE about the new software yet?

->Ah_seow, I had the same problem before, hanging after wapping. As I discovered and works for me, you must be at the first page of MiWorld for example before you press and hold 'No' to disconnect, otherwise all your incoming call will be diverted to Voice Mailbox. Or to be sure Turn-off the phone. Thanks for the info.
