As soon as the 'please wait' appeared, i didn't know that the master reset has already started. Basically, i wasn't able to time it. I just immediately removed my batt in a few secs (probably even lesser than 13/15). I lost a few mms msgs, pics, and sounds. Got rid of all themes (this one was actually my goal).
