128mb Duo MG has been out in Australia for about 6 months! It came out with the new netman(dont know it proper name thou!). Which is there latest altrac3 player(like mp3 but with there MG software!). However you cant buy it by itself and I found you can only buy it as a spare part! like if you loose your flip on your p800, they dont have them on the self nore in there computer but you can get it from spare parts!
It worked for me!!! and thats how I bought mine!
But news is I am now in Austria and the netman is not out here yet so you cant buy it from here! So you must find out it it is out in your region first! |

I am sick of ppl bullshitting on these forums, I live in Sydney and you can not buy the 128mb duo here! The new Sony netman is not released yet and therefore you cannot buy spare parts for it. I have now spoken to 3 sony stores and the sony head office, it's simple the only card available here is the 64mb. For all thse people in Australia who reckon they have a 128mb card how bout taking a photo and showing us? |

The price of these 128MB cards appears to vary greatly & I'm wondering if some of them are genuine/correct?
on ebay min. $127.50 for 128MB usually risky choice.
Expansys US $96 for the 64MB!
www.dabs.com £70.56 in UK + VAT for 64MB
shop.Brando.hk $120 (£77.15) for 128MB
So just looks too good for someone to be selling 128MB for ~ $68 (£43)
Anybody actually got a 128MB DUO for less than $80 ? |

You spoke to three sony stores, well very good! What you should know about sony stores is that they are the last person to get sony products!!!!!
I bought a sony vaio, the pcg-c1mt. I waited untill feb 27 when it was going to come out!! Who do you think would get it first?? Sony style!!! Well harris Technology got it three weeks before sony style did! You must understand if you walk into sony and ask something like that and you have young wage people working there and to buy something like that they have to do the paper work because it is not on there computer system and anything that is not on there computer system is just out of a question, etc..... they just say sorry cant buy them by itself cant get them! Go to a another shop and dont waste your time with sony style, great products crap shop!!! |

@dazbradbury
I'm in UK
Provantage
As with a lot of these sites for shipping into UK you have to look at the overall cost of the 128MB DUO
From Brando $120 + $3 postage = $123
Provantage $65.92 + $109.45 postage!!! = $175.37
I have checked out a few US sites finding they use DHL delivery which appears bloody expensive.
Will stick with shop.brando.hk who have now confirmed receipt of my order. |
