Hi antonios

I'm also on T-mobile (UK) and when I was setting up my the P800 I called T-mobile to ask them which setting I should be using GPRS or Dial-up. They told me that I should only use GPRS at 7p per Kb = £7.50 per Mb - day light robbery?!?!

When I explained to them that I had already connected successfully to my normal ISP using the dial-up setting they then put me onto 'Technical' who then explained in their best 'Corporate Tone' that they did not support 'dial-up' and therefore could not tell me anything about it or how much it would cost.

I think I'm right in saying that by using 'dial-up' and staying within my normal 100 mins free a month I'm getting free internet and e-mails, although I'll shoot myself for saying that when I get my next bill?!?!

i'm coming to the UK in September for my MSc degree. Which one is the best provider?I am leaning towards Voda though because they do not SIM lock their phones. Also Tmobile seems good.
Whatdaya think?
I can resist everything except temptation(P800)..

bah Orange and O2 are better as far as what i hear from everyone. O2 because of their plans and great amount of free stuff they give you and Orange because of the great costumer service they have, they let you call 0800 numbers for free (can u say calling cards?) and great signal all over, whether inside or outside.
What phoen did you want to use?
can't wait till we have chips implanted in our brains and the size issue goes back to being something else.

Hoi allemal, Meeuw & ThaManiaK,

For the the people who think they are getting free stuff from t-mobile Uk i can asure you are not.
The matter was raised and closed when we tested the service - if you would like to check phone 150 press option 1 , 2 , 1. Use the service and then wait 24hrs for the info to update.
You will find charges have increased - I told you so!
