Dropped mine twice: once on a carpeted floor from 4 feet. Another on a wooden floor and skidded across the room. No scratches yet :)

There was a similar topic here regarding dropping the T300 and I said there that I have never ever dropped a mobile phone, or other personal electronics (ipaqs, gps etc). in 15 years or so and this is still true.

I'm pretty happy about that too!

Whoa! I dropped mine DOWN THE STAIRS this friday, and it made it without any visible injuries. I think the gods love me.

I was very drunk and slept in the top of a 2 level bed, about 1.9m above the floor, woke up the day after and saw my phone on the floor. I had a smaller heart attack, but my phone survived without even a scratch! Thats true swedish quality!

1) I have
2) at least 12 times
3. Is it still in work condition?
3) great condition
4) my heart started to race.. I ran to it and popped the battery back in, and turned it on, checked every angle of it
5) yeah.. except the grey part of it, a lil chunk got busted off..
it's fixeable tho

We should all treat the p800 like the small PC that it is, and not just as a phone.

Dropped mine from about 1 meter (around three feet) on a concrete parking lot (tried to shove it into a nonexisting pocket in a new jacket ^_^ Geez! I feel dumb!). Without the provided SE bag, it'd certainly have broken to lots of tiny bits. Phew!

I dropped mine again for the second time around, Luckily it was from my bed to the floor is about 3 to 4 feet high and the wooden floor is carpeted, when I tested it it's working fine, Thank God, well, I guess it's really proven durable, and I won't let it happen again.

You guys are lucky. My girlfriend dropped mine and broke the LCD screen. Sending off today £150.00 to be repaired. Worse thing is I treat my p800 like a baby and have never dropped it.

Hi Everyone,

You know what? Last night, (Oh my God), I dropped my p800 again for the 3rd time, FORTUNATELY it didn’t break. I also feel quite psychologically immuned already (after 3 drops ) from worries that my p800 would break, first of all my room has wooden flooring with carpet, and based on what I’ve been hearing from you guys, I am confident that the p800 is really durable, hope this won’t happen again, I promise to myself.

Only dropped mine once - i tried to put the phone in the charger, but i didn't do it properly so it fell off the table, landed on my PC, and then fell onto a wooden floor. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

When i first bought the phone with so many people smashing the screen the first thing i did was get Orange care (phone insurance) put on it, now i really don't think it's needed. The phone is as durable as any other.

I got my p800 squished between my leg and the steering wheel in my car when I sat down. Had my phone in my right pocket in my pants. Display got smashed It's been on a trip around the country to get insurance things worked out and to be repaired now. It's been more than two weeks(!!)

So, if you have a SE phone in Norway, insured with netcom/telia, don't think you'll get it back soon!
Hate them!

Hi, guys. I wonder does the "made in" has anything to do with the durability? For guys that have smashed their phones pls tell me from where their phone are made? Cause i think maybe the one made in Sweden is more durable....Just a thought.
