Here is a lettle from Sony Ericsson :
"Thank you for your interest in Sony Ericsson products. You can find more information on this model as it becomes available at www.sonyericsson.com Check out the news releases and Coming Soon.
However, the Z1010 looks to be targetted for the European market. The current information shows only the 900/1800 GSM frequencies for Europe."
This really hurt !!!!

Hey, is that an ordinary Sony MemoryStick in the picture? If Z1010 is incorporated with the ordinary MS instead of Duo, then count me in!

SE Z1010 is undoubtly impresive compare to the Motorola and Nec 3G handset but I would still prefer to get it after it becomes affordable and the 3G to be more establish.
You impatient guinea pigs out there go ahead first to feast yourself with the new 3G technology first and the "wise" one will follow when it becomes establish and cheaper! |

But the SX1 isn't a 3G phone so it is pointless comparing them! |

it wouldn't be possible to make it thinner - it has two cams
and with the buttons of the SX1 you can't really write SMS or something like that |

This is the P504is from Panasonic.

it has two cameras and an external colour display and is only 18.8mm thick, but is only a 2G phone.
The reason the Z1010 is thick is because WCDMA is in its infancey, and chips havent reached the size of GSM. Batteries also have to be larger for the power-hungry features. Nothing to do with the cameras. |
