Hey Jaka, i never got my p800 on voda from onestop either, so i rung them and they said i had been refused a connection by Singlepoint (the airtime provider) !!
So I rung single point to find out why, and it seems that cos i pre ordered with E2save (who also use Singlepoint), i had been approved with them and could be not approved twice (maybe cos its such a high value fone).

Anyway, i had to eat humble pie and re-order with e2save (which i did yesterday) and i recieved my p800 today (on singlepoint4u).

And what a luvely piece of kit it is too.. All i need now is a 128mb stick.

Shaun

Hi shaun

Lucky you! I hope my phone arrives tomorrow. I just can't wait. But I don't think that sinle point approved anything for me cos I didnt give them any details to approve - I just pre ordered. BTW, did you see that e2save lowered some of their prices on the p800? instead of 259 its now 219 on the £20 a month O2 contract. so I could have ordered from them as well since this is cheaper than the deal I got at onestop. Which means if I had just stayed with my pre order I would have had the phone by today and saved myself some money. ah well.... life isn't perfect.... as long as I get my p800 tomorrow I'll be happy

P.S. Do you know if you can change tariff options on your vodafone contract?

Yes i can change tarrif, but i must wait 4 months before i do so. If I change sooner, I will have to pay part of the fones subsidy costs.

This is definately true, as I asked e2save and this is what they told me.

Dear Mr Chapman,

Thank you for your interest in e2ave.com.

The P800 on vodafone is hopefully due in within the next couple of days.

You have to stay on your chosen price plan for 4 months before changing to a different price plan.

If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards

Do not buy from these people, I ordered a P800 on Orange, payed £59.99, it arrived in a couple of days or so, loved the phone but couldn't live with the size, sent it back two days later, it took me 6 weeks, phone calls every day, and a threatening letter from my soliciters before I saw my £59.99 returned into my bank account.

Not only that but they also registered 3 other handsets in my name, coincidently meaning I had three new contracts each with three new numbers, on three different tariffs, to which Orange took three seperate new contract payments equalling upto about an extra £40.00. It's taken me another two weeks and further phone calls to Orange and onestopshitshop to regain the money that I'm out of pocket for.

I've had numerous phones from these guys over the years and their prices and offers always seem to be better than every body else, but shop with caution and know your rights, I for one will not be using them again.

Regarding 02 phones being locked...

That is a lie. I have been with O2 (Formerly BT Cellnet) for 6 years and had numerous phones and they have NEVER been locked.
