Settings...voicecontroll...voicesetting...magic word. Instead of holding the yes-button for 2sec, you just say a key-word, magic word, to make a voicecall. But you must use a handsfree.

Thanks Hampe. I thought so. But I read in forum that you could. I cant use it on mine. I really dont care. Saves a lot of stand-by battery.

Answer to Skjalg: to record a magic word just look somewhere in the 'voice-settings' (or what ever that menu is named.) you will find it easy. To use this feature you need a hands-free. (NOT a blue-tooth one) when you have your magic word activated just say the word, and after that you will hear the same beep as you hear when when you press the yes-button for 2 sec. So thus pretty outag the whole thing, instead of pressing you yes-button say your 'magic word'! ;-)

Good tip is to make the magic word quite long something perhaps like:

"Make a call" or "dial number" etc (shorter one word magic words will cause the phone to react when you say a similar word),

Also when recording, make sure the handsfree is plugged in when recording your voice.

Hope this helps, its worked for me

actually, they did state that clearly in the manual. magic word only works with handsets and bluetooth and all that.

and if you didn't see it in the manual, common sense would help [addsig]

I just used Abracadabra as my magic word and then whenever you are in the middle of a conversation with someone, but then.... suddenly... you feel the urge to call someone:
you just say: "abracadabra" and then wait for the beep and then say the voicecommand or name you want to call!

It's worked every time with me....

When you have your headset in and the magicword function is on, you see it on the screen!!

First off, I am new to this forum but find all the info here very helpful. I am located in the USA and have just got my new T68i. I really do like the phone alot. The question I have is that when using my HBH-30 headset, I cannot get the "Magic Word" feature to work. It will work fine with my regular cord headset but not the Bluetooth one. Is there something I am missing here?? Please let me know if there is a setting I need to turn on. This feature works very well but not with a $200.00 headset.... Very frustrated.....

Callsaysme works great for me hasn't messed up once that i can recall. I use the HF device from the box my t68i came in, and I have the stereo in on my car all the time. I can even activate and call someone with my radio on just not loud. This is the only word Ive ever tried so I cant relate to the problems here. Does anyone know if the volume setting changes the sensitivity of the mic in voice activation.

---- Just say it a little faster than your normal speach and if your having trouble with it picking up your word than hum or make a noise just before you say it. ---
Sometimes I wonder... Then I reach for my B ...
