vodaphone... the monthly post paid type
from advice I got here I also switched to vodafone 200 with GPRS select as I use GPRS ALOT! This works out at 2.30 pounds/Mb which is a quite a bit cheaper than what I was paying on the GPRS 5 plan with Vodafone 20 previously.

I heard a rumour (oh no!.. now I am doing it) that the P800 was going to be added to the Vodafone LIVE range of phones which MAY mean that it is locked to Vodafone. I went to get a Sharp GX10 for my son on vodafone LIVE and vodafone connect told me all LIVE phones are locked. I got him a T300+cam instead! It was at that time that they mentioned that the P800 was expected to be a LIVE phone too.
don't quote me though! just what I was told by a vodafone connect telephone service person in mid Jan.

no, please, check it out first.
From previous experience I have found I can call 3 different vodafone connect customer service people and get 3 different answers!

CPW "should" get Voda P800's in within the next 2 weeks. There are no confirmed dates for O2 P800's as they still have "mountains" of XDA's to shift, and they see the P800 as a threat. |
