I have used the WrightRight ones which are difficult to put on & mark easy.

Everywhere I read on esato says that the Brando ones are amazing. I have taken everybodies advice and ordered one.

Hi Martin,

I bought the Screen protector from the Brando website in Asia and they shipped it out to me (UK) within a week. Fantastic. Paid by credit card too. I haven't had chance to check if it is a good protector as I am still waiting for a P800 to come.

Brando has had rave reviews though.

Hi there! I ordered my Brando protector at http://www.gps-mount.com. €13 something. It's from Switzerland, so it's not as darn far off as Hong Kong.

You are right - the shop is very good! But it's not in Switzerland - it's in Austria! I know this as I live also in Austria and got into contact with the chief...

Sorry, dude. I still need my P800, but the protector lies in my drawer... for about two weeks already. ^_^
Maybe alcohol or acid would do some great job? (C;
Naw... not really...

I have recieved Brando protecto from GPS Mount via mail today and they send it with the bill ( I didn`t pay for it, yet) and it is pretty cool.
Recomended shop and product! Of course, don`t take adventage of them, when they send it - pay for it!

THE IRONY

Received my Brando screen protector from http://www.shop.brando.com.hk early this morning, it took about 5 days.

Foolishly I thought that it would be easier to take that little flip off the phone to apply the protector…. stupid thing wouldn’t budge….so I applied some force…. moments later the flip came flying off and the phone flew out my hands and fell on the floor…

Shitting bricks, I picked up the phone and examined the screen….only to discover a 2mm scratch slap bang in the middle and another smaller scratch on the left…..

I’m f*cking gutted…

Peeps…. There’s an obvious moral to this story…
If you got a p800 then order a screen protector… like now…NOW….

On a side note: The Brando stuff is top notch, yeh it makes the screen a little darker but believe it or not it actually makes it easy to write as well as protecting you from…err…. yourself ??

A few tips:
1. Clean the p800 screen until it’s shiny enough to see ure ugly reflection. (Dont look at it though cus it might crack and Orange care dont cover that!)

2. Peel the film of the protector and rinse under cold water. (I found that the protector I had was quite filthy). Dab with cloth to get rid of most the water then allow to dry for 2-3 min

3. Get some Scotch tape (the really thick roll) and stick on the ‘rougher’ side of the protector (this is the side that sticks to the screen)

4. Slowly peel of the Scotch tape while applying the protector to the screen. The idea here is that all the dust will stick onto the scotch tape and not on the protector.

hope this elps.

i found the Brando one didn't work for me - so i've wasted $13 - too easy to mark the sticky side - and a nightmare to put on without any dust getting in (unfortunately i don't have access to an industrial grade clean room)

looking for another option - anyone any alternatives?
