Well that was rather short-lived,I just watched the Samsung Galaxy Note2 announcement i take back what i said in my 1st post here, the Xperia T is nice, but WOW that Note2 is one hell of a beast and it comes with Jelly Bean out-the-box.
Will be great to see how these devices do in the market against each other, the competition among Android OEMs is incredible, and we as the consumers are being spoilt for choice and some incredible tech.
Haha, , welcome to the real world...
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

@Tsepz_GP,
Note 2 comes in at 6inches. Thats way too big for me to carry around as a phone for daily use. I dont think I can carry around a phone over the size of s3 because even though I have long fingers, its still hard to use it one handed. Also S3 users should be getting jelly bean by now. A friend of mine got it already .

TX will be released IN STEAD of T some places? And it is TX that is the same as SO-04D?
Currently NExus 4, but want Xperia ZR. |

Speaking of the TX, should we create a new thread for that one, or should I just edit this one to incorporate it? The devices are almost identical, after all.

Looks like this will be getting a release in Australia as opposed to the TX, slight shame as the TX looks more stylish to me.
No V or J at this point in time....which is a bit stupid because the V supports the LTE network that is currently operational here. |

Agree! The Arc design looks best when thinnest. TX is the thinner device here.
edit: Keep this thread for TX. No need for 2 threads I dont think.... Mods, can we add TX to the thread title please

The topicstarter, i.e. NightBlade, can edit first post and title

really? Shows how long its been since I started a thread
edit: I wonder why the T is thicker than the TX. And with different dimensions? I thought a non removable battery (T, yes higher capacity but not enough to warrant a massive jump in physical battery size) allows for a thinner design?

There are indeed several forums, in which you'll only be able to change the first post, as a topicstarter, not the title, but here you can edit both.

Could someone explain to me how powerful this s4 dual-core? I mean, is it on-par with the current trend of quad-core? |

Check it for Yourself here http://www.gsmarena.com/samsu[....]_galaxy_s_iii-review-761p5.php
Compare S III with HTC One S (uses same s4 dual-core as in new xperias). It manages to outdo S III in some areas, and it's only dual-core. So yeah, it's pretty fast.
Btw, does anyone know if it has this whitemagic display or whatever? Also the floating touch thing?
EDIT: Just been through whitepaper, of course it doesn't why should it? It's only Sony flagship... You want thoose features buy a mid-range Sony phone, but then say bye bye to S4 and 13MP camera...

AFAIK, both WhiteMagic and Floating Touch are still limited to 4" displays and smaller duo to technical and cost issues... but they're working on bringing these technologies later to the larger 4.x displays when they solve these issues...

I think TX might be a cancelled phone, and we may see only T. If you check the whitepapers for T, its basically re edited from TX. The last few pages have Xperia TX written on it(eg pg 18, 19). Even on sony's website TX is missing. I really hope some one gets them to clarify the actual diffrences between T, TX and V(besides the obvious smaller screen and water proof). This is the first time I am confused so much about a phone :S.
