There are a couple of Turkish desserts I can think of that begin with k:
Kabak Tatlisi (a sweet bitternut squash)
Kayisi Tatlisi (an apricot dessert)
From Greece
Koulourakia (a butter based pastry)
Kourabiedes (butter cookies)
From Russia
Khalva (syrupy walnut dessert)
From Poland
Kogel mogel (an egg based dessert flavoured with honey, cocoa or rum)
From India
Kulfi (a kind of ice cream)
Kheer (a spiced sort of rice pudding with raisins and pistacios or almonds)
These all look rather hard to pronounce however

so what's the point to have "K" as next if you don't have "A" and "B" if you think it should be in alphabetical order?

Because it obviously is in an alphabetical order. They just skipped A and B.
Astro and Bender were internal releases.

Maybe the original OS was known as versions Alpha and Beta, before Google decided to go down the alphabetical route but with something more fun and memorable, prior to releasing it to the manufacturers and customers.

It was Astro and Bender. Then they decided to go for desserts.

There two Arabic desserts that starts with K
Konafa (spilled wrongly as Kanafeh in Wikipedia)

But I think they will use Key-lime pie instead
