I think 10 years is enough it was good in the begining but it has been gradually going downhill ever since so now would be a great time for both concerned to part ways and let Ericsson get back to making proper phones again.\\r\\n\\r\\nThis marriage was great while it lasted but as with everything in life all things come to end and this partnership has run its course.

I feel so sad for SE as much as i love them most of their new Xperia devices are a let down in terms of quality and innovation. I think they are drifting stuck on a lake and slowly sinking. But i may eat my words in a years time. I hope i am wrong. Happy birthday Sony Ericsson once again. @Julias are you saying all good marriages come to an end then??

No I'm just saying the marriage was good for a while but sometimes as with any real relationship things can turn sour even though the intentions were to make things work

Yes but the T68i was just a customised Ericsson T68 so not really a proper SE phone

Indeed, happy birthday SE! Have been with you for a long time now.
My first Ericsson handset was a GH388. Very special and dear it was.
My first Sony Ericsson device was the award winning T610

My first phone was T-200. I had WAP at that time and nobody had it. Nokia was leading at that time and didn't have WAP. Sony Ericsson had been always been ahead in the race, everything changed after iPhone.
T200 -> T68i -> T610 -> K700i -> P910i -> W800i -> P990i -> M600i -> P1-> Nokia E71 -> X1i -> X10 -> Arc S -> Sony Z1 -> Sony Z Ultra -> Sony Z3+ -> iPhone 6 -> iPhone 7 Plus -> iPhone X -> iPhone XS Max |

Nokia had wap in the 7110 before was even a twinkle in the scando-japo parents eyes!
in regards to your last comment, by coincidence I was just reading "Sony Ericsson regrets ignoring iPhone, rags on Windows Phone"

I bought my Ericcson T68 on the day of launch and the same with the T68i those were the days when phones were just phones and not mini computers as they have become today with the endless apps, eyeball displays and zeig heil lenses. We have lost the TRUE essence of what a phone should be and that is to be just that a mobile telephone but I guess that's called progress. |

T68i was a brilliant phone.

A brief chronology of my affiliation with
Sony Z5 (cute little flip phone) > T610 > K750 > K790 > P900 > P910 > C905 > C510 > P990 > Xperia X10 + Xperia X10 Mini + Xperia X10 Mini Pro + Xperia Mini + Cedar.
Loved each and every one of them.
Happy Birthday to the one company that has constantly been churning out phones which have both style and substance.

I started with the T610 in 2003. Amazing phone for its time, the phone which introduced me to IR file transfers, Bluetooth, bluejacking, cameraphones, colour screens and phone games.
Then i had K700i, K750i, P900, Satio and a W880i. Still have the T610 and W880i.
I always wanted a P800, S700i, T68i and T700i, but never had the money to buy every one i wanted. I always wanted the Z1010, who remembers that one then !?

Ericsson really were brilliant without blowing their own trumpet as a certain company does today
