Global petition to Sony Ericsson! |

Don't you realise that this petition will not affect Sony Ericsson's product strategy by the slightest? These are corporate-level decisions that are purely based on sales numbers and competing strategies, not some random third-party petition with dubious reliability?

I agree Nightblade but at the same time I think have shown to be more attentive to what gets said in forum and blogs - some of their decisions recently could be attribluted to how bloggers and online forums have reacted to some of their actions.
We could mention the bootloader unlocking and also the way they were slammed for launching the X10 range with Donut, which didn't go down to well at all and for which they probably paid a heavy price for.
However, Android is booming at the moment and would be wise run with Android while there is this phenomenal growth of this OS.
I'd be surprised if they dropped OSE altogether, Cedar is a nice phone with a good camera, HD Voice and a good set of features but as long as Smartphones are the order of the day, phones like Cedar will be a niche product and they could be for a while if the price of Smartphones continues to fall.
