By far c905. Xenon flash with excellent 8.1MP shots, and mpeg4 video at 30fps with stereo aac sound.

Is the c905 not fatally flawed with its poor reliability?? Is it still safe to buy one??

I bought a new one a year ago. With the latest firmware installed, and no problem so far. I suppose that they fixed some things in the latest ones. The question is whether you'll find a new one of the latest production line, since it's not produced any more (I think). Maybe through the internet.

It really is a shame because all the major market cameraphones have touchscreen!
But we nevertheless still good options on the market!
As for you is the predominant focus on image and the presence of a xenon flash, could you indicate the following numbers:
1º C905
2º C901
3º ZN5
4º N82
With xenon flash and no are respectively the best touchscreen market options, all are older models but you can still find them on sites like e-bay and a free market! But we have the Nokia Nseries N86 (Next to the Samsung I8510 Innov8 best cameraphone 8 megapixel ever produced) that in spite of not having xenon flash has a double flash LED 3rd-generation, which does not supplant the lack of a xenon, but in most situations helps too! |

Ill suggest the Samsung i8510 INNOV8- it has the lowest noise levels among all 8Mpx cameraphones and one of the best sharpness and detail levels too.
There are many photos in the gallery from INNOV8 and if you look carefully these advantages are easy to see. |

Although it doesn't have THE best camera in the lineup, the Elm (and I'm presuming Hazel) are quite excellent camera phones as well. Decent price, decent feature set, splash/dust proof, and are quite well designed.

Best nontouch cameraphone is I-Mobile 902. His have great SONY 5mp camera module extended to 8mp with interpolation and very close Macro mode.

well I must say i am freaking amazed, it seems that phone has ISO value locked at 50 (even for night shots), but exposure times go up to 4 sec, so with tripod you get fabulous shots as that dude did in photo section. I am not sure about clarity, but concerning night shots it passes N8 as well

the best of which are Sony Ericsson C905i and Nokia N86 8MP, both with 8mp cam and Xenon flash.
The N86 is not a xenon flash but is the best photo quality.... I have both the C905a and the N86 but only ever used the C905a when I needed the action stopping power of the xenon... the N86 has better image quality and low light ability (using stock firmware) not to mention you don't need a dying M2 card for the device... the N86 uses micro SD. It also may be worth mentioning that the N86 keypad is more robust and will last much longer not to mention that the keys are easier to push.
Get an N86 and don't look back!

The n86 has too much post-processing , same the c905 way too much noise reduction.
The Motorola ZN5, The nokia 6700 classic Sirocco Lite , Sony Ericsson C901
