Sony Ericsson wasn't around in 1994.
@Mr.Krypton
Pretty strong words calling Sony Ericsson "scum of the earth" in capitals and bold. All this just to encourage Sony Ericsson to make the type of phone you want so that you can "come back to them as usual". You must have some over-inflated opinion of yourself to demand that of fellow Esato users.

Boycott Sony Ericsson, don't give them anymore power by buying their future products as they will just take your money and provide you with a substandard, purely engineered device. Maybe if they spent more resources on engineering and less on stupid advertismenets and sponsoring shows then they may then create a good product. But this is Sony Ericsson we are talking about, the company that has poorly implemented every single one of Sony's products into their products, so don't count on it. Knowing Sony Ericsson, the PSP phone will also be a failure. My first & last Sony Ericsson phone!
Please Boycott This Scum From The Earth.... If We Boycott them they will consider about new tech phones ! So Then We Can comeback to as usual
Boycott SONY ERICSSON (SCUM OF EARTH)(ONLY FOR NEW PHONES)(OLD PHONES ARE BEST)

I'm getting REALLY SICK of seeing the word Boycott used for frivilous ideals such as don't buy such & such because they didn't like the financial or lack of or choice of direction/innovation. We all vote with our dollars.
sure the definition fits this use: A boycott is a form of consumer activism involving the act of voluntarily abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with a person, organization, or country as an expression of protest, usually for political reasons. - BUT the part in BOLD is what's missing its true purpose. There is nothing political and really nothing GAINED by this request to boycott.
First - although the exact choice of words used is a bit off or simply spelling mistakes - you should research to get the desired affect of others to see your plight and side with you.
Should about 3 hundred thousand SE fans save their dollars and not purchase SE phones for say 3 quarters for all the same agreed reasons - this means lack of revenue for R&D to lead to the devices you wish for. The PROPER effect is to write a letter, film a video, or even news coverage to voice your concern to get PUBLIC appeal for more attention and media attentions (news - Radio/TV/Newspapers, interviews, tabloids, etc) you WANT in order to FORCE to take notice of those dwindling revenues and go BEYOND focus groups and invite users to participate in a larger focus and take their opinions and ideas to heart.
I'd like to see the innovative yet music of old that played & executed properly on the arts of Ericsson and Sony. Unfortunately the competition has NEVER been fiercer and to be quite honest other than cheap and oddly designed S60 phones there was really no GOOD competition for 's K750/W800i, W810i, etc.
Bring us an Android power - house or something else!

Got one from timtechs a while back but sadly I've already sold it before the Android 2.1 arrived so I can get an iPhone 4. |

Sony have officially stated that there will be no further updates. Also Satio has only received 2 updates - see link below

lol, don't get caught up in whacked out hype guys, SE gave up on Satio A LONG TIME AGO. The only reason why they wouldn't officially state it from the beginning was because they were stringing us along, they can still sell SATIO's to uneducated consumers and it keeps us from saturating the market with second hand Satios.
I believe what they did was very underhanded and sneaky, just NOT cool. Symbian isn't supported by any quality 3rd party developer, especially the Satio and Vivaz have to suffer as there are barely any specific apps catered to our market, every practical app we can get is a hand-me-down from the Nokia phones, quality is shit.
SE effed us over hard...very hard... |
