The upper left corner shows a clock in the pictires and the video. But I guess you are looking for a clock in the middle with big digits, right ?

Probably an clock-app will solve that.

think it's a very good innovative device. As of now I know many people won't really think so far but people who are working at desk like me would not like to see the phone all the time for keeping ourself update on notifications of facebook/twitter or e-mails and messages. I woud simply attach this small little device next to my desktop computer and act it like a widget so even while am on call (landline) and I read something important I can drop the call and use the notification if its important. But if I'm on call (landline) I still need to pick up my phone and check which would be like doing two things at a time.
Like they showed on picture, the guy who is playing guitar can't simply hold his phone while playing guitar!
It's definitely an intresting device, but price is going to play a big factor.

According to computerworld the frame is touch sensitive.

This should reduce battery usage of the phone dramatically.
Otherwise, it is just another toy.

Why is that? You can easily get 11+ hours music playback via ASDP to a pair of bluetooth headphones, why is this any different?

You mean a2dp, don't you?

This just controls the phone, doesn't it.
That means it can not receive A2DP bluetooth stereo streaming.
Which means it is for accessing data on the phone like caller ID, messages, other data and controlling the phone like changing track, answering a call.
So this device is another screen and set of buttons for your phone. Why you would like to carry another device instead of pulling your phone from your pocket? IMO, it should reduce battery usage because checking mails and feeds from phone's screen consumes a lot of battery. It is a nice device to show off, but I'd not buy just for that

@tranced Yeah
I was going to go for an mbw-150 bluetooth watch but this looks like a better option, especially if the retail price is around £70 as mentioned on some websites.
@OffLineR
I guess you have to balance the battery life against convenience. You can tell from the publicity shots that's it's aimed at sports and leisure market.

@goldenface Yes, it is the frame that's touch sensitive at 4 different point (one on each side) NOT the screen and it has two hardware buttons on the top corners.
I'm not entirely sure this isn't a waste of time product. Unless it's going have good sister products this could turn out to be a futile exercise. I'd like to see more android compat accessories though, it's one thing that seemingly lags behind the iPhone series.
play with the device

Q: Is LiveView a completely thing or will we see accessories from other manufacturers using similar compatibility protocols? e.g. maybe HTC making a device that's long a slim with a touchscreen supporting the same LiveView compat apps that are claiming will be on the market soon.
I think the cross compatibility of this accessory is going to be the key to it's success. The number of apps we see on the market supporting this the better and IF owners of other manufacturers' android handsets but this then it has more chance of succeeding.

I still would like to know if it can be used along with a BT headset. (if anyone knows)

Using this as a navigation screen would be nice.
@SKIBBE
I'm sure it will because A2DP and other headset protocols are different protocols than track changing protocols. And protocols on this device will be different as well.
I once managed to pare two headsets and listen to from one and change track from the other
