Hi all, I sold my Omnia i900 and now I only have the C902, I'm looking for a replacement phone and came across ELM and it it around US$230 in my country. Here are my questions

1) is it a good deal ?
2) What about signal reception issues ? are they fixed with the latest firmware?
3) Screen quality is better than C902 or or worse ?
4) found a slightly used X10 mini for US$280.
** What is the phone I should go with? ELM or the X10 mini

Thank you

1) It's an ok(decent) deal - what are the accessories & extras that come with it?
2) My signal reception issues turned out not to be an Elm problem but a problem with my old SIM. Once I had that replaced, reception was pretty good.
3) Ummm.. no idea (I don't have a C902)
4) If just based on price I'd say go for the X10mini - I'd only get second hand phones from someone I know very well though. The term "slightly used" is overused, imho if the phone has been dropped at least once or it's been used for more than a week then the term no longer applies.

And if you get the Elm, let it be the J10i2.

In Italy the only Elm model in stores is the J10i2. Maybe the J10i is for different markets or a pre-production unit?

I would go for the slighty used X10 mini if I was you As bono said, the Elm's reception issues come from the antenna being at the bottom of the phone - so when you hold it in your hand, the signal drops. The X10 mini's antenna is at the top of the phone and had good reception and also a very good camera in sunny conditions, which I imagine you'd be interested in coming from a C902 Cyber-shot

of course mriley

camera is a very important part of my day to day life, I use my C902 for almost everything though I have a Sony 12MP point and shoot
Anyways I'm thinking of buying the Hazel, around 250$ on eBay, is there any known issues with hazel like ELM's reception problems ??

About coverage, GSM coverage is OK on my Hazel. 3G coverage from what I know is lower than some other 3G phones. Just keep a look out for updates.

I made a lot of calls with a bar of reception but I had no problems with dropped calls.
