CleanMyMac performs the Cleaning part of Onyx in a very easy way! And everything is so user friendly

By the way, Cocktail ( to me ) is easier and more attractive to use
Take a look here.
It has won an award or something
Nice review here.

Hi!

fatreg posted this ly/macbook_pro?mco=MTM3NDc0NDI ] link for me..

I know about different Windows OS, XP, PIsta, 7 and so on, but no idea about different Mac OS.

OS X and Leopard? Which runs faster? No pun intended.

I will not make a quick decision to buy because, tomorrow week, I fly to Japan. Not really sure whether to buy in UK and bring with me or not...

For my email need, my iPod Touch with WiFi is enough!

the OS is called X as in 10.1 - 10.5 etc.
Big upgrades get a different name.
Tiger
Leopard
Snow Leopard

Someone is gonna slap my face for this but you can compare it to Service-Pack 1, 2, 3.

Hans explained it well.
OS X = Windows and Win 7 = Snow Leopard ( snow leopard is so much better )
You get the picture?

OK, so I was going through Onyx and remembered something. I have this software called Deeper.
It's just like Onyx, a maintaining tool but I have to say, I still prefer Cocktail and I beg you to try it out
It's much better than Onyx or Deeper for that matter. I haven't tried out MacKeeper yet but will do that and post here.
About Deeper:
It's just like Onyx. Very similar to it, divided in tabs like, Safari, Login, SpotLight, etc etc and you can set the parameters. Execute different commands through it

OK, so you gotta try this one out. BetterTouchTool... If you liked your touchpad with all the fancy multitouch gestures, you'll love it now. Go here and you'll understand what i mean.
About MacKeeper, I HATE IT!

Hi everyone!

exchange rate too stupid to buy in Japan, because I would pay 200 pounds over the UK price.

But I am not sure what to buy..

I think I have matched prices to pictures...

fatregs link, here seem's to give different specifications..

Take the first offer. The laptop in the first photo. The difference is only in the looks but you will be eternally sorry if you take the one from the last pic. That one is awesome too, but the first one is better

I've 13" and 15" MacBookPro both. Personally I prefer the 15". because extra pixels do matter. If you can then go for the 15" core i7. I hope it's easily goes upto 3/4 years without any lagging hardware for future software's demand.
13" also good one. You'll find great portability on 13" if you carry your laptop often.
Whatever you buy, don't go for the last one of your pictures.

I did the switch 3 years ego and have never looked back. Granted it did take a few weeks to get used to it properly and i am still finding new things i can do with it today but its a lot better than any windows PC i have used.

I'v recently upgraded to the 13 inch MacBook pro from a 15 inch pro and at first the screen did seem a lot smaller but now i have got used to it and prefer the portability.

Regarding Onyx i have just downloaded it and am doing the checks but i get this error message "Not possibly to verify the startup volume because it is not journaled" What does this mean?

What's wrong the basic 13"Macbook? I'm thinking of one to use for presentations (with beamer) and field recordings (music)
