I did notice an improvement in speed when I installed the test. However, I had to uninstall it because my phone would not recognise when I plugged my headphones in. I'm guessing this was to do with the test as it worked before I installed it and worked again after I deleted it.
Yeah, I also experienced this. I'm trying to fix it
I did notice a slight impact in battery life, but nothing like from 4 days to 3 hours. Also, how do you get your phone to last that long? Is it without use?
i close all apps and processes when i don't use them, i turn off the bt if i don't use it and so on.
my normal use is (everyday):some calls, some videocalls, sms, some mms, bt, internet (to visit web sites, forums, email with download and consultation of word and pdf), use programs, and random i use sygic, i take photos, make video, play and download music,install/uninstall programs |

I have narrowed this hack down to 6030 1 //KFeatureIdAlwaysUrban What this setting does is makes the CPU run at 100% all the time which explains the rapid discharge of the phones battery. This however has some uses, for example unplayable games such as Prince Of Persia can now be played at a decent frame rate, it also speeds up installations and could possibly keep a steady frame rate if 720P video recording is achieved. So this feature can be enabled/disabled when needed but it is not for an amateur.
Can a Mod lock this thread!

Interesting Raafat

Enabled them all, and then disabled them one by one in order to find the correct setting. These come with descriptions but they tend to be not very informative. |
