Catch Life in HD With Sony Ericsson Vivaz |

I like it - looks different to rest of the slabs like the colours (as Angus at USEB said I really like the blue) not too bothered about the Video capabilities (and not sure that many will be) but as really well specc'd good and unusual looking upper mid tier phone looks like could be a winner. I hope so and I hop SE can show Nokia how to do SF and I hope it helps SE carry on with their Symbian programme.
Key is getting the S/W runnig sable - get that and I think this could do well, another 50 euros off the price and it would storm I think. Nokia 5800 looking bit long in tooth and is bit ugly but is lower price barcket now and Nokia looked to have dropped the ball with the X6, sure it has capacitive screen but same old rubbish hardware as 5800 N97 etc and new screen can't cover up for the fact that it doesn't run SF^x well plus has quite a few initial bugs and is only available at inflated Comes With Music inclusive price at the moment, by the time the Vivaz is out will probably be cheaper version without CWM but still I think the Vivaz wins easily (so much better hardware platform).
Any details of internals other than proccy, C: and RAM yet and I hope will be running full blown SF^2 or at least feature set not S60V5 as on Satio? |

We dont know about the screentype yet, I can use my "nail" like that on my iphone, part of my finger is touching the screen. |

So here's the competition:
Play.com listing Nokia X6 16GB (without CWM) for £299.99 pre order expected release Feb 23rd
Still think the vivaz can beat it as proccy is so much better and hopefully RAM too, but really ought to have kinetic scrolling and other SF^2 features and must must be stable and I do think 400Euros is top price, if pitch it at 350 same as X6 gonna stomp it. |

Ugly from the back though nice from the front Whats with the curvy back on this phone & the new green heart phones too? I don't like the curve & that lens will get scratched big time Terrible advert Where the lens is placed being in the middle when holding the phone with no lens cover you will get finger prints all over it. Also because it is in the middle where the curve is again no protection & scratches will occur. Or is the lens recessed?

It simply more comfortable to hold. (for the same reason the mouse on your PC probably has a curved back).
