thanx 4 giving me the maps..
can any1 tell me how to upload the middle east maps to the ovi maps software .. (i am new to using ovi maps). whn i installed the software, a folder (cities) was created. shall i put the middle east map somwhere in there.
Will appreciate the help.

Hi,
Where can I find map for Europe (Western and Central)? Actually, the Nokia Map Loader doesn't work because it doesn't like Satio, even after hacking

Hi there...
I'm a new member here, so a bit naif about hacking world... 
Would like to ask for help...I have got my HelloOX2 signed version and installed it on my Satio, it was installed smoothly. Then I also have activate the RoMpatcher (both of them FP2 and RP+).
But when I download nokia maps (ver 3.03 (246)) and installed it on my satio, it installed smoothly, but when I try to open it nothing happens. Already unhack then hack my satio again several times but still no results. Also try to reinstall the nokia maps again, still nothing happens when i click the nokia maps application (I download the nokia maps directly from my satio through www.nokia.com/maps, the n97 mini version)
I try to access ovi store, but it seems ovi store still recognize that my phone is not nokia. Where did I go wrong?
Please somebody help.......? thanks...... |

Check out the version of Ovi Maps posted here. It works well with the satio

I have it working prefectly too but i do use it alot and sometimes it decide to freeze up do you have any of the experience?

Hi guys, can you please explain how to get nokia maps onto my satio as I think these maps are so much better.
Do I need to hack my satio, if so how is this done and what map do I need, version etc and from where?

Ovi map doesn't work well with Satio. It's not quite accurate with the built-in GPS and/or external BT gps. Keeps recalculating when you're in the right direction since it mistakes you as driving on an adjacent road. Unusable iIMO. Refer to the other thread on Satio's Weak GPS Signal on the same forum. |
